Austin, TX, May 2, 2025 – The National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) has named Urbane Design the 2025 National Remodeler of the Year (RotY™) winner in the “Residential Kitchen: $150,000 to $200,000” category.
The award-winning project transformed a 1970s hillside estate kitchen in Austin into a light-filled showpiece. By raising the ceiling to 12 feet and removing dividing walls, the design team created an open, modern layout that honors the home’s original charm. New windows and a glass door now frame stunning greenbelt views and invite in natural light.
Blending modern and transitional styles, the kitchen features shaker cabinetry, white oak accents, and a bold green island. Luxe gold fixtures and handmade forest-green tile add refined character, making the space the heart of the home.
Formerly known as the CotY Awards, the NARI Remodeler of the Year Awards celebrate excellence in design and execution across the remodeling industry. The 2025 program recognized 40 winning projects completed by 16 standout teams, representing more than $190 million in value. Categories spanned kitchens, baths, additions, historic renovations, commercial interiors, and more.
A panel of industry experts evaluated entries on problem-solving, functionality, aesthetics, craftsmanship, innovation, and overall presentation.
