About Austin Habitat For Humanity:

Austin Habitat for Humanity is only as strong as the relationships it has within the community. With generous support from partners and sponsors, Austin Habitat can continue to build strong, stable and self-reliant communities in Central Texas.

Please consider joining us as we work to create affordability in Austin. With varying degrees of investment and custom sponsorship opportunities, there is something for sponsors of all levels.

Austin Habitat homes are built through the generosity of our donors and hard work of our volunteers. Many times, these individuals are the same. By partnering with Austin Habitat, sponsors build a sustainable future for a deserving family.

Your sponsor gifts are an investment in our community and your gift will go to help families build and buy new homes, repair existing homes, keep homes safe from foreclosure and break the cycle of poverty. In summary, sponsor gifts changes lives.

Having a home matters, as it is not just a place to live. A home is the foundation for a better life and a better Austin. The impact of your gift is powerful.

About Design Changes Lives:

Design Changes Lives is a 501c3 nonprofit that connects interior designers with low-income families to design bedrooms for children in need to help build confidence, empower and improve the quality of their lives.

Our founder, Jessica Love is extremely passionate about interior design and believes our environment affects our mood, productivity, energy levels and overall attitude. As a professional interior designer, Love improves the quality of her client’s lives by creating a safe and healthy place that families can thrive. Love feels strongly that low-income families deserve the same attention. Design Changes Lives pairs a local interior designer with a child in need. The designer listens to the child’s needs and desires and provides a comprehensive design plan that will be carefully executed in order to improve the life and overall well-being of the child.

In order to make these family’s dreams a reality, Design Changes Lives needs support from the Austin community and local business owners. The designer will need supplies and furniture to make the child’s space one they can be proud of and be safe in. Each room will need a sturdy bed frame, space for learning, relaxing and storage. Design Changes Lives also wants to allow children to show their style and personality with their room so paint, art and decorative items are also greatly needed.
