Meet The Team

Jessica Love, Allied ASID
Interior Designer/Principal

As a dynamic interior designer holding a Bachelor’s of Science in Interior Design from Sam Houston State University, and as a practicing Allied Member of ASID, Jessica lends her expertise to clients in both the residential and commercial spheres.

Jessica Love engaged her entrepreneurial spirit in the creation of Love Designs in 2004. Early on, she established a design philosophy that works with individual client’s tastes, cultivating her customers’ own personal styles with a professional, critical eye. As a result, Jessica has quickly built a loyal clientele that value her adaptability to any individual’s aesthetic, whether working with traditional or contemporary styles.

Concurrently, Jessica serves as the principal of Urbane Design, an interior design firm located in Austin, Texas. She and her team manage design projects statewide. Never one to settle for the status quo, Jessica is always looking to expand business.  With over thirteen years of design experience, Jessica was recently an “Austin Under 40” Finalist in the Architecture and Design category and named one of the “Best 15 Interior Designers in Austin”, one of the “Top 25 Interior Designers in Texas”, and one of “7 Incredible Interior Designers in Texas”.

Jessica works closely with all of her clients in order to reflect their tastes, their desires and their visions. She is always ready to make recommendations that take rooms from ordinary to extraordinary. From concept to completion, Jessica turns design dreams into elegant reality.

Design + Philanthropy

Design is not simply a career choice, for Jessica, it is a life choice; one that she takes very seriously. Jessica believes that good design builds a close connection with users and greatly influences their lives. She believes design is one of the most powerful forces in our lives, and can also be inspiring, empowering and enlightening. Taking part in, and volunteering through community service is fundamental to and by proxy important to Jessica Love and Urbane Design. Jessica is passionate about giving back to our Austin community. She commits herself to a multitude of philanthropic and leadership roles, all of which are close to her heart. She is a huge animal advocate and shares her home with a rescue dog and cat. In the last year alone, she has been involved with a large number of local charities, inclusive of: multiple personal fundraisers for Austin Pets Alive! Including a fundraiser at her own wedding, built a doghouse for Barkitecture Austin, benefiting Austin Pets Alive!, and in conjunction with networking peers and Austin Business Link hosted a fundraiser for SAFE. Additionally, Jessica is a mentor for YWA Connect and Big Brothers Big Sisters, a board member for Ten Thousand Villages, and has partnered with Austin Habitat for Humanity as the beneficiary for her annual music showcase that takes place during SXSW. The annual party started in 2015 and is all about celebrating our design clients, local business, local artists/ musicians and giving back to our local community. Jessica believes that community service promotes personal growth and self-esteem, brings a better understanding of environments, fosters empathy and self-efficacy, strengthens teams and makes a huge difference!
