Five Point Interior Design Process

Point One- Initial Consultation
Client schedules a necessary one-hour consultation with Urbane Design to discuss design goals, needs and budget. This is a mutual interview process to get to know one another as well as to see the client’s interior space. An in-home visit is needed to accurately develop a design direction for the project.

Point Two- Design Agreement
Based on the initial meeting, a Design Agreement will be presented for approval. This is a signed agreement between the client and Urbane Design that outlines the scope of the project and the fee for interior design services. Significant discounts are offered to clients who purchase materials through Urbane Design. Established design fees may be required at this time.

Point Three- Design Concept
After completing the Design Agreement, work begins on developing your design plan. Urbane Design will work with you to determine individual preferences and requirements. Necessary drawings and other materials will be prepared in order to illustrate suggested interior design concepts.

Point Four- Client Presentation
After being presented with design concepts, final selections will be necessary. Estimates of costs will be prepared based on final selections. Contractors and appropriate trade personnel will be recommended, if needed. A deposit of 50% is required to order product through Urbane Design, the remainder is due before delivery or installation.

Point Five- Design Completion
The End of the Beginning! Finally, we coordinate ordering, manufacture, delivery and installation or placement of purchased products and services. A Customer satisfaction survey will be offered and an ongoing relationship begins. From here we hope to move on to your next design challenge together!
