We are excited to announce that we have partnered with our friends at Pretty Kennels and are designing/building a dog house for Barkitecture. This year the proceeds from the silent austin will benefit Austin Pets Alive! We are honored to design and build a dog house one of our favorite local charities and of course support local business. Come see our finished product and perhaps put in a bid for your pampered pooch! It is happening Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Jo’s Coffee (1300 South Congress Ave. Austin, TX 78704) 12PM-4PM. Pretty Kennels will also have a booth, so don’t forget to check out those beauties in person!
What Is Barkitecture?
“Barkitecture is a custom doghouse design show, contest, silent auction and, most importantly, fundraiser! From its inception in 2005, Barkitecture has become an Austin favorite and gained national exposure. Hosted by Animal Lovers of Austin, Inc. (a 501(c)3 organization) this architectural dog-centric event showcases doghouses created by Austin’s best and
brightest architects, interior designers and builders. A fair that’s fun for all ages drawing in pooches and people alike, Barkitecture attendees and their dogs get to check
out and bid on these one-of-a-kind doghouses, learn about adoption opportunities from Austin Pets Alive!, shop local vendor booths, enjoy a Fashound Show, hit the
photo booth with your pooch and check out face painting for the kiddos! This year we are delighted to be partnering with Austin Pets Alive! as our sole beneficiary for funds raised and are excited to hold the event in the heart of SOCO, thanks to Jo’s Coffee and Hotel San Jose. The event is FREE!”
